We’ve been through denial, school rejection, and struggles with diagnosis. We’ve tried to get our kids the support they need while balancing our lives and careers. Guess what? Sometimes we fail, and that’s okay. We’re here to support you and share our own lived experiences.

How it all started

Meru was founded by Noor. She was diagnosed with ADHD in her childhood and struggled to “fix and conceal” her weaknesses until she discovered how to set up her own ADHD support system.

As a mum who has navigated ADHD challenges firsthand, Noor founded Meru to provide families and individuals with ADHD with a safe space where they can connect and explore different support systems.

After an incident at my son's school, I was forced to move him to a school for kids with special needs. When the doctor shared the diagnosis about ADHD and mild autism, I was devastated, angry. My husband was in full denial. I struggled to balance my career with all the therapies, so I quit my job to fully focus on my child. Joining Meru was life-changing. I found my go-to people—for advice, navigating new strategies, or just for a friendly chat over coffee. Thank you Meru for making parenting ADHD kids so humane and social.

Joining Meru has been a game changer for our family. Our life used to be total chaos, with tantrums, sibling fights, school calls, hectic routines, dad in denial... Navigating the journey of ADHD was a solo draining journey. At Meru, we've found understanding, support, and camaraderie. The resources and real life stories are invaluable, transforming challenges into opportunities for growth and connection. Thank you Meru for letting us be part of such a compassionate and humane group that truly "gets it".

What kind of expert guidance does Meru provide?

No two ADHD-ers are alike. One size certainly does not fit all. At Meru, we believe in a multi-disciplinary approach. We work with a human constellation of doctors, therapists, musicians, and artists to help you navigate your personal ADHD journey.

What types of events does Meru offer and how can I participate?

Change to “Meru hosts in-person events (in Singapore, for now), including immersive workshops, support groups, and experiences. Meru also runs a bunch of online events, such as group coaching, AMA, One Mum One Story, and many more. Find out more about our events on our website and on Eventbrite.

I have other conditions in addition to ADHD. Can I join Meru?

We know that ADHD never travels alone. We do our best to talk, reflect, and share about other conditions, such as autism and dyslexia. Currently, we only offer ADHD coaching, but are working hard to expand our support. Drop us an email if you have any questions.
